Tabled papers

The Legislative Council maintains an electronic database that contains details of all reports and other documents, including petitions, returns to orders and statutory instruments, tabled in the House since 1995.

Details of papers tabled in the House will usually appear on the register within 24 hours of being tabled.

How do I get a copy of a tabled paper?
PDF versions of many documents tabled in the House are attached to the tabled papers database.

If the document is not available online, you can either contact the relevant department or authority which produced the report, or contact the Council’s Table Office. The document may only be available for viewing in Parliament House.

Viewing tabled papers in Parliament House
Certain documents tabled in the Legislative Council are not available online and are only available for viewing in the Council’s Table Office.

The Table Office is open between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm business days. It is advisable to contact the office on 9230 2749 to make an arrangement to view documents.

Before viewing documents, visitors are requested to sign a register. By signing the register visitors indicate that they agree to abide by certain rules. A small fee is charged for photocopies.
